Our resident digital gurus went all out on this one, managing to churn out this VFX masterpiece in one month. That involved a couple of all-nighters and an all-weekender, and it’s pretty easy to see how much effort went into this College Humor sketch.

EVERY shot required effects. The actors were all shot on green screen and it was Gloo’s job to build the world from scratch using primarily Maya and AfterEffects. A lot of attention of detail was employed to recreate the feel of “Tron” (both the old one and the new one) and incorporate it into the world of “The Big Lebowski”.

We’ll be releasing a “Making of” video in the next few weeks to give you a better look into the process of working on this video, but until then, big kudos to Mike Ritchie, Paul DeSilva, Casey Vigushin, and Jonny Ostrem for the amazing work they did on this!
