Have you ever had a hard drive fail? Not that big of a deal really, as long as you keep proper back ups and all that stuff that's recommended and SO easy to do.  Well, we goofed.  Our back ups were not up to date, a hard drive was inadvertently formatted, and poof - there went like 2 months of work.  Yeah, that sucked and caused A LOT of stress, mostly for Gloo's Director of VFX, Mike Ritchie (right Mike?)

Our good friend Carl Sondrol over at Sondrol Music was recently interviewed by Hollywood Chicago, and was nice enough to give a shout out to us.  In case you don't know who Carl is, he is the genius behind the sound and music in our Webby Award winning "Pixar Intro Parody" for Collegehumor.  In fact, Carl is the man behind a lot of the better Collegehumor sketches with great sound design.  He has been an amazing compliment to our work over the last year and we are thrilled whenever we hear that he will be doing the sound for one of our projects.  So please go read the article in support of the talented Carl Sondrol!

Last week, our good friend, director Todd Strauss-Schulson announced to the world that he will be directing the next Harold and Kumar movie "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas"!  All we can say here at Gloo is "Hell Yeah!!!!!

Since the launch of 'Die Hardly Working' our latest Visual FX extravaganza for collegehumor, the media world has been buzzing about Gloo Studios.  Online news agencies everywhere have been publishing about us, and now the Vancouver Sun has written a feature article about Gloo (including a snappy photograph of Jason, Mike and I).
